5th Grade German Exchange Trip 2025

Join us on the German Exchange Trip where 5th Grade SAIL students study at RecknitzCampus in Laage, Germany. After first stops in Hamburg and Stralsund, they receive a special visit from Parliamentary State Secretary Patrick Dahlemann and Beate Schlupp, First Vice President of the State Parliament before beginning a packed week of learning at school. They visit historic Rostock University, its trophy room, and the Zoological Institute. Next is Mirow, the birthplace of Queen Charlotte, the namesake of Charlotte, NC. The trip concludes with a visit to Germany’s capital, Berlin, where they hit all the spots – Fernsehturm, Reichstag, Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, and more!
